While speaking with BuzzFeed at the 2024 GLAAD Media Awards last month, the 20-year-old “Karma” singer was asked what was the most expensive thing she was wearing that night on the carpet. In a TikTok video shared on March 16 by BuzzFeed, she replied, “My teeth.” JoJo Siwa continued to laugh and further quipped about her expensive cosmetic procedure, stating, “These motherf***ers cost me 50 grand.”
Before the world witnessed her recent and shocking rebrand, JoJo Siwa previously admitted that she thought of herself a “very insecure.” In November 2023, while competing on ‘Special Forces: World’s Toughest Test,’ Siwa confessed to E! News, “I judge myself at everything. I’m a very insecure person.”

The ‘Dance Moms‘ alum continued to reveal, “Everything gets judged. You know, people told me I have a receding hairline; they don’t know that I have a stress rash and that’s why I’m balding right here. A 12-year-old shouldn’t have a stress rash on their head that makes them bald, but I did.”
Fortunately, however, JoJo Siwa has appeared to overcome some of her insecurities as the former Nickelodeon star becomes more and more comfortable in her own skin. She has not only worn her expensive veneers on the GLAAD Media Awards carpet last month, but she has also popped out to the 2024 iHeartRadio Music Awards with a daring outfit inspired by the Rock band Kiss.
Ditching her signature high ponytail and usual clothing choices, Siwa shocked fans when she arrived at Los Angeles’ Dolby Theatre with an intricate mohawk with curls and braids and dressed in, what looked like, a revealing black and silver shoulder-to-foot leotard/one-piece. The outfit featured matching bat wings on the back of her sleeves and she wore black face paint around her eyes with a line dripping down from her chin to the center of her chest and added a goth-inspired black lip to match.
According to TMZ, Kiss frontman Gene Simmons gave JoJo Siwa his stamp of approval for her outfit. The 74-year-old said, “JoJo is cool. Anybody who doesn’t get it is just jealous, period. Never be ordinary. Always be extraordinary. JoJo is extraordinary, and she looks cool. She looks like me, but that’s another story.”
