Joe Rogan Calls Himself A ‘Victim’ Of A ‘Political Hit Job’ Amid N-Word Controversy

After apologizing over the controversy of him consistently using the n-word, Joe Rogan is now calling himself a “victim” of a “political hit job.” As a refresher, Joe has recently been cancelled over his coronavirus misinformation, and was then called out by Soul singer India Arie over his ample use of the n-word and his disrespectful comments about Black people.

India demanded Spotify end their partnership with Joe or remove her music catalog altogether. Since, Spotify has removed over 100 controversial episodes of ‘The Joe Rogan Experience,’ and Joe apologized on Instagram. But, now he’s victimizing himself over the whole thing.

On the latest episode of his podcast, Joe said, “In a lot of ways, this is a relief. That video had always been out there. This is a political hit job. They’re taking all this stuff I’ve ever said that’s wrong and smushing it all together. It’s good because it makes me address some stuff that I really wish wasn’t out there.” To right-wing criticism, he says, “You should apologize if you regret something. I do think you have to be careful not to apologize for nonsense. Over time, people will understand you. They know you. If you misstep, they know what you’re trying to do – you’re not a vicious person, you’re just trying to be funny.” #Socialites, thoughts?
