Yikes! Rapper turned podcaster Joe Budden has got the girls fighting! His new boo Shadée Monique and his former boo — technically his ex-fiancée — Cyn Santana are online throwing subs at each other!

Joe Budden & His Ex-Fiancée Cyn Santana
As we all know Joe and Cyn first met and got together in 2016 while co-starring on the VH1 reality series Love & Hip Hop: New York. The couple then welcome a son together, Lexington Budden in December 2017.
On season 9 of Love & Hip Hop: New York, the couple opened up to viewers and let us into their relationship. We saw the ups and downs they faced together, like fighting over faithfulness, and personally, like Cyn’s struggles with postpartum depression.
At the end of the season, Joe got on one knee and proposed to Cyn, who accepted the engagement. However, the bliss did not last long. Just four months into their engagement, the couple decided to split and go their separate ways.
After the couple ended their engagement around May 2019, Cyn went on to explain on an episode of Love & Hip Hop: New York that they broke up because Joe was unfaithful and cheated on her. She further alleged that she discovered photos of another woman on his phone. Joe has not confirmed nor denied the claims.
However, despite the couple’s messy and very public breakup, Joe and Cyn have remained to appear amicable as they co-parent their 4-year-old son Lexington.

Joe Budden & His Current Boo Shadée Monique
Now, for years Joe has been seen with or rumored to be with Shadée Monique, who is a Houston, Texas native and entrepreneur. She owns her own clothing boutique called Nyzuree, which appears to cater to Instagram models.
Joe and Shadée first made serious headlines back in August 2019 when Joe was caught at a pool party with Shadée twerking on him poolside. When the video went viral, people immediately thought he left Cyn for Shadée.
What didn’t help Joe’s case with this theory is his and Shadée’s continuous flirty comments being left on each others’ Instagram pages.
When asked if he left Cyn for Shadée, Joe has previously said at the time, “We didn’t break up. There’s been no breakup. Now, words are important. So what does that mean? What that means is neither one of us said it’s over.” But, in the same breath, he admitted that the two “haven’t spoken in a little while.”
However, as Cyn moved on, so did Joe, because in June 2021, Joe trolled Shadée for claiming he doesn’t post her online – further suggesting that the two were indeed a couple now. So, Joe took to his Instagram Story with a photo of the two (shrunken down to half an inch) and wrote, “Since she say I don’t post us.”

Shadée Monique vs. Cyn Santana: The Girls Are Fighting
Since, the two have been in each other IG Stories clubbing, partying and more. And now, as of late, Shadée’s been a little shady in her Stories, appearing to call Joe’s ex-fiancée Cyn “salty.”
On Sunday (May 15), Cyn took to her Instagram Story and sent off a series of posts. She said, “Being in a public relationship can be so scary now a days. On da gram claiming one thing but off da gram being silly 😩 Laughable things man. So many laughable things on this damn app lol yo si que gozo 🥲. “
She continued, “Imagine being with someone then you go public too soon and find out they’re a whole clown off these apps. I am terrified how do y’all b claiming people?!!!! Que pena.”
Seemingly fighting back, Shadée took to her own IG Story and made it known that Joe is all about her. She reposted a meme that read, “I love a “I got it” ass man. Boy you know what else you fina get.” And she captioned it, “Anything you want tf.”
She then reposted a meme that read, “All these flavors and you choose to be salty” and captioned it “Yikes.” Reposting another meme that read, “Stay lowkey, then pop out. Have them like, since whennnn,” Shadée captioned it, “YEARS.”
Before posting a boomerang of her sitting on Joe’s lap, Shadée posted one last meme that read, “Manifesting a good day, week and life,” and captioned it “Let’s all stay positive.”
