Sheesh! One thing we can clearly count on Joe Budden for is his direct and blunt commentary. After going viral earlier today for his “corny” comments about “Creed” star Michael B. Jordan and his run-in with radio host and personality Lore’L, Joe Budden is doubling down on his harsh criticism.

Joe Budden Doubles Down On His Comments About ‘Corny’ Michael B. Jordan: ‘Y’all Would Call Him A Lot More; Get Off My D**k’

To recap how things all began: MBJ and Lore’L went to the same school as teens in Newark, New Jersey, for about a year. During that time, Lore’L claims she and MBJ were cool, not super close, but cool.

Years later, the host would end up on a podcast episode with another host who called MBJ “corny.” While Lore’L did not call MBJ that, she followed up with her personal anecdote about how back in their school days, the kids would make fun of his name, which resembled the famed NBA baller Michael Jordan.

At a recent red carpet screening for ‘Creed,’ MBJ and Lore’L ran into each other and things got a bit awkward as MBJ called her out, claiming she was the one who called him “corny.” Lore’L has since clarified things, which was then followed by commentary from Joe Budden.

Taking to his self-titled podcast, Joe called MBJ “corny” for sure because of how he handled Lore’L (a Black woman) on the carpet.

Joe said, “Hey, Creed! In case you were confused, that corny a** sh*t you did, is why n***as think you’re corny.”

After going viral, and catching a bit of mixed reviews, Joe took to his Instagram Story and fired back at the backlash.

As Joe doubles down, he says, “If any other Black multi millionaire embarrassed a woman working on a red carpet cuz she thought he was corny in 7th grade y’all would call him a lot more than corny… Also i work for me & im not firing myself. I said what i said, get off my d**k. Love, management.”
