Joe Biden Goes Viral After Getting LL Cool J’s Name Wrong While Speaking At The Congressional Black Caucus

Looks like the internet is giving Joe Biden a hard time after he mispronounced LL Cool J’s name and also referring to him as a “boy” during a speech at the Congressional Black Caucus on Saturday. 

LL Cool J was being honored at the conference alongside MC Lyte for their major contributions to the music industry .  During his speech Biden can heard stumbling over LL Cool J’s name, saying, “LL Jay Cool J, uhhh…” before quickly correcting himself. However, the situation became more controversial when he referred to the rapper as “boy” in the same sentence. “By the way, that boy — that man’s got biceps bigger than my thighs,” Biden added.

The crowd’s response seemed to be filled with laughter/ a bit of confusion but Biden quickly shifted his attention and spoke about MC Lyte which the audience gave her a big round of applause. But unfortunately the president mispronouncing LL Cool J’s name didn’t go unnoticed after fans caught the clip and quickly made it go viral all over social media.

LL Cool J’s career began in the mid-1980s when he released his debut album “Radio” in 1985. The album was a commercial success and featured hit singles like “I Can’t Live Without My Radio” and “Rock the Bells.” He followed up with several other successful albums, including “Bigger and Deffer” (1987) and “Mama Said Knock You Out” (1990).
