Joe Biden Breaks Record With Most Votes Of Any Presidential Candidate In History
While we are anxiously waiting for the results of the 2020 presidential race, Joe Biden has broken President Obama’s record of having the most votes of any presidential candidate.
Per The New York Times, Biden, 77, has gained 70,005,568 votes, breaking the record set by his former running mate Barack Obama, who earned 66,862,039 votes in 2008. As of now, Trump has 67,120,277 votes as of Wednesday morning
It is still too early to call the winner but, if Biden leads hold, he will be President. Hundreds of thousands of votes are still outstanding in states like Pennsylvania.
Last night Biden said he was confident of a win once all votes were counted,
“We feel good about where we are. We believe we are on track to win this election.“
Of course, Trump threw a fit last night.
“We were getting ready to win this election. Frankly, we did win this election,” he said. “This is a major fraud on our nation. We want the law to be used in a proper manner. So we’ll be going to the US Supreme Court. We want all voting to stop.”
