After the news hit the internet a lot of celebrities have had a lot of different opinions about the issue. According to comedian, Jess Hilarious she doesn’t believe Erica was calling Spice a monkey and using it as a racial slur. “Every time they get into it with Erica Mena they always bring that sh*t up that’s the only thing they can say about her is something about her son. That’s f***** up. It doesn’t matter what’s wrong with him, don’t bring him up. Like Spice said your son don’t like you! And I can’t call you a motherf*cking monkey.”

“I don’t think Erica was using it as a racial slur. Maybe Spice look like a monkey to her. Let a motherf*cker tell me Ash (her son) don’t like me whatever the f*ck you look like I’m going to call you that and the fact they filmed it back in the dizzle and you choose to fire her for the backlash. You not even protecting your cast like you do.”

After Jess’ comments on the situation many people in the comment section were upset about her words. One person responded saying, “It’s sad when a black personality defends racism. Our ancestors fought for so much for us to say stupid sh*t like this.”

The comedian actually responded back to the backlash in our comment section and said: “Oh please most of y’all just still mad at me from weeks ago…I don’t need y’all to defend ME against the man comments. I said stand up for WOMEN against that gatekeeping bullsh*it! I SAID WHAT I SAID THEN AND I SAID WHAT I SAID THIS AFTERNOON.”
