Jennifer Lopez And Alex Rodriguez Officially Announce Breakup
It’s officially over between Jennifer Lopez and Alex Rodriguez.
Back in March, it was reported that two had called it quits but the famous couple quickly slammed those reports down and seemed to be going strong as they were pictured out together in paparazzi pics. As those rumors continued to circulate, J.Lo and A-Rod released a joint statement, announcing that they were still together. “All reports are inaccurate,” they said. “We are working through some things.”
Although it seemed like they were going to push through, the singer and the former baseball slugger, who have been a couple since 2017, officially called off their two-year engagement and will focus on remaining friends. They said in a joint statement Thursday to TODAY : “We have realized we are better as friends and look forward to remaining so. We will continue to work together and support each other on our shared businesses and projects. We wish the best for each other and one another’s children. Out of respect for them, the only other comment we have to say is thank you to everyone who has sent kind words and support.”
Lopez was previously married to Ojani Noa from 1997–1998), Cris Judd (2001–2003) and Marc Anthony (2004–2014), who she shares 13-year-old twins, Max and Emme.
