Jeffree Star Cosmetics Allegedly Paid $45,000 To Sexual Assault Accuser To Drop Claims

Newly leaked documents seen by Insider, reportedly appear to show Jeffree Star Cosmetics allegedly paying $45,000 to Jeffree Star‘s sexual assault accuser in order to drop his claims.

In October, we reported that Star was accused of sexual assault, physical violence and bribery during his rise to fame as an electropop musician back in the Myspace era/late 2000s. We shared how one accuser, Gage Arthur, alleged he’d been slipped an Ambien on the first night staying over Star’s home in 2009; further accusing Star of performing nonconsensual oral sex on him. Star’s legal team responded to the claims, calling them “false and defamatory.”

2 months after initial reports broke out, Insider via StickyDrama.com, claim they’ve seen an image of a cashier’s check, showing a $45,000 payment to Gage Arthur from a Jeffree Star Cosmetics executive days after Arthur retracted his allegations. The latter site claims Arthur settled with Star’s team, allegedly agreeing to receive $25,000 for attempting to retract his claims, plus $20,000 for contacting two of Insider‘s other sources to follow suit.
