JayQ the Legend defends the health and wellbeing of fellow passengers on his Delta flight this morning by discretely requesting that the flight attendant ask an overtly sick passenger, coughing and sneezing without covering his mouth, to be more mindful of others. Her response, which she said loudly for everyone to hear, was “we cannot remove a passenger”.
The flight attendant escalated the situation even more by calling in a supervisor and delaying the flight. The supervisor told JayQ The Legend, trial lawyer and former marine, that he could get off the plane and take another flight, which was the company policy.

The flight attendants themselves are not allowed to even wear gloves, except to pick up trash.
It is time the airlines take more action to protect healthy patients and empower sick passengers to be respectful. Here are some suggestions:
We can’t expect that virally ill people aren’t going to get on a flight, but the airlines can do much more to keep everyone healthy, especially during flu season.
