Jason Lee Kicks Off ‘God Must Have Forgot About Me’ Book Tour At Delta College In Stockton

Jason Lee kicked off his book tour with an evening at Delta College in Stockton, where he spoke to students and attendees about his journey surviving the streets of Stockton and turning his struggle into success.
Growing up in the violent, drug-infested streets of Stockton, California, Jason Lee spent most of his childhood trying to survive. His story in “God Must Have Forgotten About Me” was told to hundreds of students on Tuesday night, in hopes that they can learn and pursue their dreams too.
“I wrote this book to tell my story but with the hopes that it would inspire other people to find a way to create their own path to healing,” said Lee.
Over 600 people showed up and they were greeted by a special message via FaceTime from Cardi B and Tiffany Haddish! Cardi bought 400 copies for the students and Tiffany announced she would be treating them to a screening of her new movie, “Like A Boss.”
