Congresswoman Jasmine Crockett (D-TX) is offering an olive branch as Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) shades fellow Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) as they react to her resignation amid a falling out with President Donald Trump.
As previously shared, MTG announced her resignation from Congress on Friday (November 21) following her falling out with President Trump. In an 11-minute video statement shared online, MTG criticized the Republican Party, House leadership, and continued to slam President Donald Trump.
She claimed that the current state of the GOP has strayed from the principles of “Make America Great AGAIN (MAGA), a movement that once united the base. Additionally, she alleged the party’s focus has shifted away from policy and unity and moved toward personal vendettas and internal conflict. She continued to blast both Trump and House Republicans for “losing sight” of the movement’s original goals.
Greene noted that her last day will be effective as of January 5, 2026. In her video statement, Greene, who’s been platforming Jeffrey Epstein victims/survivors, said:
“Standing up for American women who were raped at 14, trafficked and used by rich, powerful men, should not result in me being called a traitor and threatened by the President of the United States, whom I fought for.”
Donald Trump Cuts Ties With Marjorie Taylor Greene, Labeling Her A ‘Lightweight’ & ‘Traitor’ Amid Push To Release Jeffrey Epstein Files
Before Greene’s resignation, we shared her very public dispute and falling out with President Trump. On November 14, MTG continued to push for the release of Epstein files on X. Soon after her posts, Trump took to Truth Social and wrote:
“I am withdrawing my support and Endorsement of “Congresswoman” Marjorie Taylor Greene, of the Great State of Georgia. Over the past few weeks, despite my creating Record Achievements for our Country including, a Total and Complete Victory on the Shutdown, Closed Borders, Low Taxes, No Men in Women’s Sports or Transgender for Everyone, ending DEI, stopping Biden’s Record Setting Inflation, Biggest Regulation Cuts in History, stopping EIGHT WARS, rebuilding our Military, being RESPECTED by every Country in the World (as opposed to being the laughingstock that we were just 12 months ago!), having Trillions of Dollars (Record Setting!) INVESTED in the U.S.A., and having created the “HOTTEST” Country anywhere in the World from being a DEAD Country just 12 months ago (and so much more!), all I see “Wacky” Marjorie do is COMPLAIN, COMPLAIN, COMPLAIN! It seemed to all begin when I sent her a Poll stating that she should not run for Senator, or Governor, she was at 12%, and didn’t have a chance (unless, of course, she had my Endorsement — which she wasn’t about to get!). She has told many people that she is upset that I don’t return her phone calls anymore, but with 219 Congressmen/women, 53 U.S. Senators, 24 Cabinet Members, almost 200 Countries, and an otherwise normal life to lead, I can’t take a ranting Lunatic’s call every day. I understand that wonderful, Conservative people are thinking about primarying Marjorie in her District of Georgia, that they too are fed up with her and her antics and, if the right person runs, they will have my Complete and Unyielding Support. She has gone Far Left, even doing The View, with their Low IQ Republican hating Anchors. Thank you for your attention to this matter. MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN!”
In two more posts, Trump continued to slam MTG as a “traitor” and “lightweight.” He wrote:
“Lightweight Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Brown (Green grass turns Brown when it begins to ROT!), betrayed the entire Republican Party when she turned Left, performed poorly on the pathetic View, and became the RINO that we all know she always was. Just another Fake politician, no different than Rand Paul Jr. (Thomas Massie), who got caught being a full fledged Republican In Name Only (RINO)! MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN!!!

Responding to Trump, MTG tweeted a lengthy caption with two screenshots of alleged text messages: one with Trump, and another with someone named “Natalie,” who’s allegedly Natalie Harp, a ‘close’ aide of President Trump. The post read:
“President Trump just attacked me and lied about me. I haven’t called him at all, but I did send these text messages today. Apparently this is what sent him over the edge. The Epstein files. And of course he’s coming after me hard to make an example to scare all the other Republicans before next weeks vote to release the Epstein files.
It’s astonishing really how hard he’s fighting to stop the Epstein files from coming out that he actually goes to this level. But really most Americans wish he would fight this hard to help the forgotten men and women of America who are fed up with foreign wars and foreign causes, are going broke trying to feed their families, and are losing hope of ever achieving the American dream. That’s what I voted for.
I have supported President Trump with too much of my precious time, too much of my own money, and fought harder for him even when almost all other Republicans turned their back and denounced him. But I don’t worship or serve Donald Trump. I worship God, Jesus is my savior, and I serve my district GA14 and the American people.
I remain the same today as I’ve always been and I will continue to pray this administration will be successful because the American people desperately deserve what they voted for. For me, I remain America First and America Only!!! ❤️🇺🇸”
Marjorie Taylor Greene Reacts To Donald Trump Labeling Her A ‘Traitor’ Amid Push To Release Jeffrey Epstein Files
On Saturday (November 15), MTG continued to speak out about Trump’s post. She wrote:
“Good morning. I want to thank everyone who texted and posted and commented support for me, you all are so kind and I appreciate, love, and support you too. I never thought that fighting to release the Epstein files, defending women who were victims of rape, and fighting to expose the web of rich powerful elites would have caused this, but here we are. And it truly speaks for itself. There needs to be a new way forward.
The toxic political industrial complex thrives on ripping us all apart but never delivers anything good for the American people, whom I love. The PIC tells us to hate each other, fundraises off why we have to hate each other, and pits Americans against each other to the point of violence and nearing civil war. This is all so wrong. We can have our own differences and differing opinions but we can still love and respect one another. We have far more in common than we have apart.
I believe in the American people more than I believe in any leader or political party and the American people deserve so much better than how they have been treated by both sides of the aisle. The way forward is America First America Only. And that may be the most dangerous pursuit of all. While responding to Trump’s name-calling, MTG claimed she’s been received threats on her life since the public severing of their ties by Trump.”
In another post, MTG claimed she was receiving threats against her safety. She wrote:
“My phone is blowing up with constant amazing support. I’m so thankful! The Political Industrial Complex and the toxic violent nature of American politics must end. Our country is worth saving and it can only be done if we pull together and save ourselves.
I am now being contacted by private security firms with warnings for my safety as a hot bed of threats against me are being fueled and egged on by the most powerful man in the world. The man I supported and helped get elected. Aggressive rhetoric attacking me has historically led to death threats and multiple convictions of men who were radicalized by the same type rhetoric being directed at me right now. This time by the President of the United States.
As a woman I take threats from men seriously. I now have a small understanding of the fear and pressure the women, who are victims of Jeffrey Epstein and his cabal, must feel. As a Republican, who overwhelmingly votes for President Trump‘s bills and agenda, his aggression against me which also fuels the venomous nature of his radical internet trolls (many of whom are paid), this is completely shocking to everyone.”

Jasmine Crockett Offers Olive Branch And Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez Shades Fellow Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene While Reacting To Her Resignation Amid Donald Trump Falling Out
Since Marjorie Taylor Greene’s falling out with Trump and resignation from Congress, fellow congresswomen Jasmine Crockett and Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (AOC) are reacting. As Crockett offers an olive branch — since calling out the “bleach-blonde bad-built butch-body” legislator back in May 2024 — AOC doubles down on her criticism of MTG.
Replying to Greene’s video statement on Friday (November 21), Crockett took to X wrote:
“I’m going to be honest… I didn’t see this coming but the threats that come with being on the opposite side of Trump ARE REAL!
People need to wake up! Trump only knows how to use people up & then cast them aside when he’s done… he did it to his VP, he’s done it to those that wanted the Epstein files, he did it to those that believed he cared about their struggles, & now he’s doing it to one of his most loyal followers, MTG.
Going forward, NO ONE, elected or otherwise, should allow any person to coax them into creating a culture of violence.
MTG referenced not wanting to be a battered woman…I’ll say this my granny used to say don’t play with fire, because you just may get burned. I’m still waiting for Republicans to stand firmly against the president’s death wishes on sitting members of the House and Senate!
My final word on this is that my office reached out to MTG’s to work on some member safety legislation. I’m serious about working collaboratively on this effort if there is an interest. We can get it drafted before January.”
Meanwhile, on her Instagram Story, AOC reposted an article announcing MTG’s resignation and wrote:
“She’s carefully timing her departure just 1-2 days after her pension kicks in and after making millions of dollars insider trading stocks for weapons manufacturers and others while in office.
She is saying a lot but her ACTIONS have not backed up the rhetoric. For all her talk, she’s STILL voting with them to gut healthcare and advance self-dealing corruption schemes.”
