Janet Jackson says she felt ‘guilty by association’ amid Michael Jackson’s abuse trial

The upcoming “Janet” documentary will be airing on Life Time, and A&E networks will dive deep into the life of Janet Jackson. The main part in the trailer that has fans talking is her revealing information about her relationship with her late brother Michael Jackson.

The Jackson family has always stood by Michael’s side when he was sent to trial over child abuse allegations. After the death of the King of Pop documentaries like “leaving Netherland” began to come out trying to show evidence that he committed those allegations.

In the trailer, the interviewer asked Janet Jackson if the allegations affected her career-wise. And the star replied, “yes, guilty by association. I guess that’s what they call it right?”

In 1993 Michael was accused of molesting then 13-year-old Jordan Chandler at his home known as the Neverland Ranch.

Furthermore, this Jordan Chandler trial was the first big accusation against the moo walking legend for alleged child abuse. This specific case never made it to court as Chandler’s family accepted a 15 million dollar settlement. That settlement was the foundation of Janet Jackson supporting her brother Michael. When asked about that case in 2016 the megastar Janet replied by saying.

“Now if this really went on, do you think a father would accept money? Do you think that would make everything OK? It doesn’t make any sense. If that was my son, I don’t care if he gave me a billion dollars, I want to see you either behind bars or dead for doing that to my son.” She would go on to say, “It’s crazy, the guy was after money, that is all he wanted.”
