Ahead of her upcoming Together Again world tour, Janet Jackson is said to be following in the footsteps of Beyonce by vetting those who she plans on working with during the summer concerts. According to The Sun, the “Feedback” singer is doing MeToo checks on everyone from her dancers to bandmates, crew, and general staff to make sure they don’t have a history of abuse to their name.
“It’s not cheap to do but for Janet and those close to her, creating a safe and kind work environment is more important than profits,” a source told the publication. “She also wants a completely non-toxic working environment for all her staff and by implementing these early checks she is eradicating the risk.”

It’s already been estimated that with the high demand in ticket sales for Janet’s world tour, the 56-year-old could pull in close to $100 million once her final show wraps at the Climate Pledge Arena in Seattle, Washington in June. “A show that big and of the scale Janet plans cannot afford anything to happen to it,” the insider continued.
When Beyonce was working on her latest album, “Renaissance,” it was claimed that she, too, had vetted all of the producers and artists she planned to collaborate with after reports came out producer Detail — who’s behind 2013’s “Drunk In Love” — was in serious trouble with the law.
In 2020, he was arrested for allegedly raping five women and sexually assaulting a sixth person over the course of almost a decade, between 2010 and 2018. Detail, whose real name is Noel Fisher, heavily denied the allegations, but, according to the aforementioned publication, the accusations against him were enough for Bey not to work with him again.

“Beyonce was devastated when she found out Detail, one of her collaborators was accused of rape and sexual assault,” the source shared. “She stopped working with him and her team now run #MeToo checks on any potential collaborators.
Apparently, Detail had sent two songs to Beyonce’s team in hopes that they would make the cut for her latest release, but her camp decided to scrap both tracks because of his troubled past.
