Socialites, let’s keep the people of Iran in our prayers! According to BBC News, the Iranian courts issued its first death sentence against one of its 15,000 detained protestors on Sunday, with many more to follow as their trial approaches. Tehran is setting a clear example to anybody who wants to partake in future protests, with over 2,000 people expected to attend court in the coming days pertaining to their charges in the eight-week-long “riots” — one of those charges including the possible death penalty.
The protests in Iran made worldwide headlines with the death of 22-year-old Mahsa Amini back in September, who had fallen into a coma after being detained for not wearing her hijab in accordance with government standards. She was pronounced dead three days later. While her family has strongly alleged that police officers killed Mahsa by beating her with a baton and banging her head against a vehicle, officials say she supposedly died from “sudden heart failure” following her arrest.
Parliament of Iran has moved to execute all the tens of thousands of protesters arrested over the last two months. A mass execution of mostly children and the media is silent.
They did this before. 1500 protesters were murdered by the regime in 2019. The world must act.#OpIran

Hundreds have already been brutally killed during the demonstrations, where some women, including teenage girls, have begun burning their scarves and hijabs and cutting off their hair in solitary with Mahsa and other victims. Some of those women who have been arrested, according to Mashable, were said to have had their human rights violated after allegedly being sexually abused by interrogators. The United Nations has since urged Iran to “stop using the death penalty as a tool to squash protests.”
But the citizens of Iran have continued to stand their ground after thousands of protestors gathered in the southeast on Friday to mark “Bloody Friday;” remembering the estimated 64 people who were killed by police in September for challenging the government’s law and taking part in the protests.
If you really want to know why knocking off turbans of clerics has become a sport in Iran, just watch this video, then you will understand their anger the teenagers. For years clerics have been harassing women in the streets for hijab.#MahsaAmini

Five other people who were involved in the mass gatherings across the Western Asia country in support of anti-hijab protests were sentenced to five to 10 years in prison for “collusion to commit a crime against national security and disturbance of public peace and order.” Though the sentences have been outrageously harsh, Iran did note that the decisions made were preliminary and could be appealed.
One user took to Twitter, urging for people across the world to do their part and help a country in crisis. “Parliament of Iran has moved to execute all the tens of thousands of protesters arrested over the last two months,” they wrote.
