#Socialites come get into this: can you imagine walking outside in the middle of the night and seeing somebody casually roaming your town dressed in what looks like full KKK robes!?? Yeah… that’s exactly the type of nightmare fuel folks in West Warwick are dealing with right now.
A video that’s been making heavy rounds online shows a sick man walking through the center of town around 2 a.m. Monday near the Main Street gazebo with the completely out of pocket outfit: White robe, pointed hood… extremely disturbing.

Ryan Fitzgerald, who witnessed the moment with his brother Sean spoke with WJAR’s Leanna Faulk and said they didn’t even hesitate once they realized what they were looking at. “We were like, what the hell is that?” Fitzgerald said. “And then we literally booked it out of there.”
Fitzgerald said the person appeared to look straight at them, and that was enough to send them into full exit mode. “Honestly, me and Sean were just like, ‘holy crap like, I gotta get the hell out of here,’” he said.
He continued explaining how he felt in that scary moment: “It’s weird because I know there’s racism around here, but not like that,” said Fitzgerald. “That’s a whole different level.”
A nearby business, Candy’s Curiosities & Vintage, also captured the figure on surveillance footage and shared it with police.
Town officials say police are aware of the situation and are investigating, but so far, details are limited. No identity, no explanation, just a lot of unanswered questions.
But one thing is clear: in 2026, walking around dressed like that isn’t just “random.” It sends a message and people in West Warwick are not here for it.
