Welp, Hunter Biden is gay… well just a little, according to him. The son of former President Joe Biden sat down for an interview that nobody expected to go viral the way it did… What started as a casual conversation with podcast host Luke Beasley turned into a big revelation about his sexuality: 48.6 percent gay.
Beasley opened up the 80-minute conversation by telling Biden, “Let’s get serious. I am gay,” and Hunter clearly caught off guard but rolling with it responded, “Really? Wow. Seriously. I’m so amazed you’re gay.” From there, the bit just kept escalating. When Beasley flipped the question back on him, Hunter admitted, “Only a little bit.”
That’s when things got mathematical. Pressed on whether he was leaning more or less than 50 percent, Biden answered with a precise “48.6,” though the number kept shifting as the conversation rolled on. He even got specific about preference, saying that if he were gay, “a little bit more masculine would be, I think, my type.”
At one point Hunter walked it back, dropping his “gaydom” down a notch, before eventually building back up to the number that would define the whole internet cycle. By the end of the sit-down, he told Beasley, “I just wanted to let you know that I am back up to 48.5 percent gay.”
Beasley, understanding exactly what kind of content gold he had, turned the whole exchange into a short clip literally titled tracking Hunter’s gayness throughout the interview.
Now this wasn’t Hunter’s first time stepping into queer political commentary. Back in July, on a different podcast, he went after what he called Washington’s “closetocracy,” his word for closeted politicians, largely Republican, who he says turn their internal struggle into public hostility toward the LGBTQ+ community. He didn’t hold back either, describing a culture where repression breeds resentment that gets aimed outward at everybody else.
