Hugh Grant Gets Dragged By Social Media For Being ‘Rude’ During Pre-Oscars Interview With Ashley Graham

During ABC’s pre-show for the 95th Annual Academy Awards, the actor who stars in ‘Glass Onion’ stepped up to speak with Graham, but the interview was nothing short of awkward!

Before the annual ceremony kicked off, Graham, who was one of the on-air hosts for ABC’s ‘Countdown to the Oscars,’ began the interview by asking Grant what was one of his favorite things about the Oscars. With a bit of sarcasm and snark, he replied, “It’s fascinating. The whole of humanity is here. It’s a vanity fair.”

While the ‘Sports Illustrated’ model thought he was referring to the Vanity Fair Oscars after party, Grant was in fact referring to the whole event being somewhat of a shallow ostentation.

Graham continued to keep the interview flowing by asking Grant what he was most excited to see for the evening. He then asks, “Too see?,” and Graham further asks, “I know that you probably have watched a few of the movies, are you excited to see anybody win? Do you have your hopes up for anyone?”Grant dryly replies,“No. Not in particular.”

The remaining part of the interview is Graham then trying to keep the small talk going and asking Grant other relevant questions, but he continues to keep his answers short and lackluster.

Subsequently, social media called him out for being “rude,” “a d**k,” “a d bag,” and many more obscene descriptives.

Meanwhile, others taking up for Grant during his pre-Oscars interview, simply say that his “dry” responses fall in line with his usual “dry humorous” personality and him being from England.

Others say he’s been to these shows so much, that he’s probably tired of being interviewed.
