“Home Alone” Actor Donald Trump Permanently Banned From SAG-AFTRA
Over the weekend, Home Alone actor Donald Trump was permanently banned from ever rejoining the actors’ union after the board passed a resolution that gave him the boot… for GOOD!

SAG-AFTRA is blocking Trump, who also happened to be the President of the United States; denying a future application that Trump may submit to get back in. The ban ultimately means that Trump won’t be able to do any legit TV or movie appearances in the future, at least none that are SAG sanctioned, TMZ notes.
The reason for all of this stems from his involvement in inciting a violent mob to storm the U.S. Capitol on Jan. 6 and his opposition to a peaceful transition of power on his way out of office.
Trump tried to get a head start at exiting the union by resigning. He said in a letter:
“I write to you today regarding the so-called Disciplinary Committee hearing aimed at revoking my union membership. Who cares!”
He added, “While I’m not familiar with your work,” he continued, “I’m very proud of my work on movies such as Home Alone 2, Zoolander and Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps; and television shows including The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air, Saturday Night Live, and of course, one of the most successful shows in television history, The Apprentice – to name just a few!”
“I’ve also greatly helped the cable news television business (said to be a dying platform with not much time left until I got involved in politics), and created thousands of jobs at networks such as MSDNC and Fake News CNN, among many others.” Before concluding he said: “I no longer wish to be associated with your union. As such, this letter is to inform you of my immediate resignation from SAG-AFTRA. You have done nothing for me.”
