Singer/Songwriter JaPrince is a prolific collaborator and music producer with soaring vocal skills. Japrince is also the Chief Operating Officer and Sr. Recording Engineer for V & J Records, Publishing and Production Inc. Japrince is a man of many talents. His music abilities span across many different genres of music. Despite his many different accomplishments, Japrince has managed to stay humble as the true man of God that he is. Japrince recognizes the opportunity to use different musical styles to minister, deliver hope, and spread love to those that were outside of the church. Every one of Japrince’s performances or music arrangements tells a story of pain, triumph, and the power of the human experience. Whether it be a low or high experience he delivers enlightenment and gives enhancement into the lives of his listeners.
JaPrince was born and raised in upstate New York by a family of musicians and entrepreneurs. Japrince was no stranger to success. In fact, failing was never presented to him as an option. JaPrince began playing drums with his mother’s gospel group the “Wings of Faith” at the young age of ten. Despite being a sickly child, Japrince began to showcase his superb talents as a singer, musician, and songwriter at a very early age. During his years of academics, Japrince excelled in the art of acting as a child, being featured in numerous commercials and TV shows.
The obstacles Japrince has faced have never deterred him from his purpose or his passion for music. The worst of those obstacles was the loss of his mother at the age of 18. In Spite of his many trials, Japrince pushed forward with the lessons, knowledge, faith, and love bestowed upon him by his mother. February 2020, he revived his long-running show ‘The Japrince Show’, and relaunched it on the national network, The Now Network. The Japrince Show offers a captivating style that is designed to teach, inspire, inform, entertain, and hold to his motto, “Bringing a voice to the voiceless.” There is no subject too big or too small for him to bring out a message to help or heal those in need. In his words, “Until the next time we share time, this is your boy Japrince saying, God Bless.”
