High School Student Found After Going Missing During School Field Trip
A Florida high school student was found safe after it was reported she went missing during a school field trip in Georgia. Authorities said they found the 16-year-old at an Alabama home and arrested a male in connection with her disappearance.
Mia Brailford was last seen by her tentmate around 11:30 p.m. on Saturday night but she was not present at Sunday’s 6 a.m. morning check-in, according to the school district.
“Brailford was located using technology resources available through the Georgia Bureau of Investigation that analyze historic cell phone data,” Sheriff Dan Kilgore said in a statement.
