Gunplay is back in the slammer after allegedly violating the restraining order his estranged wife, Vonshae Taylor-Morales got against him.
According to TMZ, Miami-Dade County Jail confirmed that the rapper was arrested on Wednesday and will continue to stay behind bars until his court date on November 7. The news outlet spoke to a source that said the Florida Department of Corrections Community Control received a notification from his ankle monitor which made them aware that he was in the area. Furthermore after tracking Gunplay down he was arrested right outside Vonshae’s home.
The news outlet continued to report that nothing happened at Vonshae’s house because authorities arrived to the home as Gunplay was driving there so he never got a chance to interact with Vonshae and their child. This arrest makes it the eighth time Gunplay allegedly violated the restraining order which states he’s not allowed to come within 500 feet of Vonshae, according to tmz.
Now were not sure why Gunplay attempted to show up to Vonshae’s house but he did recently lose custody of his daughter after being accused of pointing a AK-47 at his wife and the baby during an argument. Sources close to the situation explained to TMZ that Gunplay is only allowed to see his daughter virtually through an app called “TalkingParents.” The source also stated that Vonshae is requesting child support but the amount that he will have to pay hasn’t been decided yet. That court hearing will take place at a later date.

He then allegedly pressed an AK-47 against his wife’s chest and said, “I will blow your s—t back,” according to the Law & Crime. Taylor-Morales addressed the ordeal on her Instagram a few days later and said she and her daughter were “safe” — and that she was divorcing the rapper, against whom she had a restraining order. “Unfortunately Richard is back to using and developed a very bad drinking problem,” wrote the mom, who appeared alongside her husband in the VH1 reality show.
