Gun Handler Who Worked On Alec Baldwin Film Was Recently Hired

A head armorer who was recently hired to work on the set of Alec Baldwin’s film “Rust” reportedly had doubts about working the job.

According to TMZ, Hannah Reed revealed on the “Voices of the West” podcast discussing her experiences working in the film industry last month. She said she recently wrapped up a film starring Nicolas Cage and added that it was her first job as a head armorer. Reed also discussed how her father, veteran head armorer Thell Reed, gave her advice about the job since he worked on the films “Django: Unchained” and “3:10 to Yuma.”

Reed said she was nervous about loading blanks in prop guns and called it the “scariest” thing about her job because she didn’t know how to do it.
