Brandy shared a video on TikTok warning her followers about the frightening experience she witnessed as her husband, Billy, developed symptoms of an accidental overdose. In the clip, she is seen standing outside of the wedding venue with her groom and trying to console him. “At this point, I was worried he was gonna faint and fall down the mountain. His heart was racing, his brain was moving faster than he could form words. He tried saying his vows to me but was unable to think. His emotions [were] heightened,” she explained.

Billy experienced increased heart rate, dry mouth, sweating, and mood swings. Brandy said she feared her husband would have a heart attack or stroke. According to the New York Post, the couple learned that an unnamed wedding guest spiked Billy’s drink with Adderall.

“Many people intentionally combined alcohol and Adderall in order to party harder and longer,” they wrote. “So they spike others drinks thinking they will be hype all night with them.” F–k you for causing such trauma to my family,”

Billy was later drug tested and evaluated by a nurse, and an investigation was launched by the Parkside Resort to determine what happened during the wedding celebration.

The drug is known to treat individuals with ADHD, attention deficit, or hyperactivity disorder but can be deadly when combined with alcohol or other substances. It can also increase the risk of seizure, the outlet also reported.

TikTokers respond to the incident and form different opinions on the situation.

Brandy’s post was viewed over six million times, her followers issued advice about legal matters, and even popular TikTokers offered to host a second wedding. One user named Kina Kay wrote, “Not me wondering if you can sue for the entire cost of your wedding and recreate a better one,” while another wrote, “That “friend” would be arrested and gone from my life.

Her followers also acknowledged how Billy remained strong throughout the wedding ceremony despite suffering from an accidental overdose.

“This was so scary to watch you can tell immediately that he is in serious distress! Shame on whoever did this! Glad it didn’t ruin y’all’s special day”

Someone intentionally did that?? I am so sorry that some thoughtless person ruined your beautiful wedding like that.

The outcome of the investigation is currently unknown but the couple shared the video to spread awareness about the dangers of consuming spiked drinks.
