A man and his family from a town called Mira Road was booked after his bride filed a complaint with police for lying about his hair issues before the wedding in India.

The complaint filed by Naya Nagar Police states the 27-year-old woman married her 29-year-old husband back in September and discovered he wore a wig after the wedding. She claimed her in-laws also hid the secret and coerced her into marrying their accountant son along with harassing her to give them more money. He was also accused of forcing his wife to perform unwanted sexual acts.
“The main accused got married to the complainant, a chartered accountant, in September this year. The woman later discovered that he was bald and had been wearing a wig,.We have booked the husband and his parents under sections 498 (enticing or taking away or detaining with criminal intent of a married woman), 377 (unnatural sex), 406 (breach of trust), and 500 (defamation) of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) and sections 66 and 66(c) of the Information Technology (IT) Act,”

Senior Inspector Kailash Barve said the groom was denied bail and he will be arrested within the next few days.
“While the other accused got anticipatory bail, the Thane court rejected the husband’s bail application and ordered him to surrender before the police. We will arrest him in a day or two,”
