A man says he’s been receiving multiple mysterious phone calls after his grandparents went missing following the condo collapse that took place in Miami on Thursday.

Jake Samuelson, the grandson of Annie and Myriam Notkim, said since he’s received at least 16 phone calls on his landline but he heard static every time he answered. According to the New York Post, Samuelson said the first phone call came hours after the building collapsed and he noted that his grandparent’s phone was always next to their bed.
“We were all sitting there in the living room, my whole family, Diane, my mother, and we were just shocked. We kind of thought nothing of it because we answered, and it was static.”

The family is still waiting for more details from investigators in regards to the couple as 150 people are still unaccounted for.
