Fugitive Caught In Caribbean Hideout After His Tattoos Were Recognized In Youtube Cooking Video

A fugitive who is a member of the Italian mafia was caught in the Dominican Republic after police identified his tattoos in several cooking Youtube videos with his wife.

Italian police captured 53-year-old Marc Feren Claude Biart on Monday, 7 years after he was on the run for alleged cocaine trafficking for the Cacciola clan of the Ndranghheta Mafia. While he was on the run, Biart and his wife were living at the hideout in Boca Chica and remained in secrecy until they created their Youtube videos. Although he tried to hide his face in the videos, his tattoos were shown without any discretion.

Interpol escorted him to a jet that was was scheduled to take Biart to Milan where he was arrested as soon as he landed.

According to the New York Post, the Ndrangheta mafia is one of the largest criminal organization in Europe due to its distribution of cocaine.
