On Friday (March 15), Pence joined Fox News’ ‘The Story,’ where he discussed the 2024 presidential election and his latest visit to Israel. During his time on the show, Pence also spoke about his plans to NOT endorse the GOP nominee, along with NOT supporting the Democratic nominee, current President Joe Biden.

In a bombshell statement, Mike Pence said, “It should come as no surprise that I will not be endorsing Donald Trump this year. Donald Trump is pursuing and articulating an agenda that is at odds with the conservative agenda that we governed on during our four years. That’s why I cannot in good conscience endorse Donald Trump in this campaign. I’m incredibly proud of the record of our administration. It was a conservative record that made America more prosperous, more secure and saw conservatives appointed to our courts in a more peaceful world.”

Pence, who dropped out of the 2024 race in October 2023, also said that he would “never vote” for Joe Biden. He said, “I’m going to keep my vote to myself.”

It’s reported that Pence was not a fan of Trump after the January 6 Capitol Riots. Their relationship is said to have turned sour after the Capitol riots when Trump faulted Pence for refusing to send disputed electoral slates back to state legislatures in his then-role as president of the Senate.

Pence recalled his issues with Trump and said, “[We have] our differences on my constitutional duties that I exercised on January 6 [2021].” He said that Trump’s latest comments about China and opposing a ban on TikTok in the United States also seemingly show his reversal of his strong opposition towards China. Pence said, “Last week [was] his reversal on getting tough on China, and supporting our administration’s effort to force a sale of ByteDance [and] TikTok.”
