A married former teacher who was already charged with sexual battery for having sex with a student has been arrested for a similar crime in a different county.

Hayley Close Hallmark, 35, was a soccer coach and teacher at Ruckel Middle School in Niceville and faced a previous charge in Okaloosa County for having a relationship with a female student from 2018 to 2020. Earlier this week, she was arrested for a similar charge in Osceola County but more details on the new case are currently unknown.
Back in February, Hallmark was arrested and charged with lewd and lascivious conduct with a student by an authority figure. The victim told another teacher about the grooming and alleged sexual abuse and officers were informed that it started when she was in eighth grade. The messages exchanged between Hallmark and the victim started with “sexting” after she entered the ninth grade and turned sexual after they went to multiple locations to meet up with each which included her home in Destin.

Hallmark was suspended without pay depending on the outcome of the crime as told by Superintendent Marcus Chambers.
