Florida Sheriff’s Office Offers Jobs To The Buffalo 57 & Atlanta 6 Who Were Fired Or Resigned Over Police Misconduct
Brevard County, Florida Sheriff’s Office — the same office accused of murdering Gregory Edwards, a decorated, black veteran — has recently offered jobs to the Buffalo 57 and Atlanta 6 — the cops who were either fired or resigned over recent police misconduct incidents.
On Saturday (June 6), the Brevard County chapter of the Fraternal Order of Police posted, “Hey Buffalo 57… and Atlanta 6… we are hiring in Florida. Lower taxes, no spineless leadership, or dumb mayors rambling on at press conferences… Plus… we got your back! # lawandorderFlorida # movetowhereyouare.”
As a refresher, “Buffalo 57” refers to the 57 officers in Buffalo, New York who resigned immediately after two officers were fired for shoving an elderly protestor last week. Meanwhile, the “Atlanta 6” refers to the 6 officers who were booked after breaking the windows and forcefully pulling two college students out of their vehicle.
In addition, the chapter’s Facebook also posted a message to the Minneapolis officers. They stated, “Minneapolis officers… we WILL NOT disband our LE agencies or give in… we are hiring in Florida. Lower taxes, no spineless leadership, conflicting orders or dumb mayors rambling on at press conferences… Plus… we got your back! # lawandorderFlorida # movetowhereyouare.”
