Florida Man Arrested For Spraying Bottle Labeled ‘COVID-19’ On Business Doors

In Jacksonville, Florida, 50-year-old David Randolph White was arrested on Sunday (Mar 29) after spraying a bottle labeled “COVID-19” on the doors of a local PetSmart.

Upon arresting White, the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office say, “As he entered, he sprayed the unknown substance on and around the entrance doors of the business. The suspect reportedly made statements to the employees and patrons in the area that they were now infected with COVID-19.”

Now, White is facing several charges including, threatened use of a weapon or hoax weapon of mass destruction. After his arrest, he was later released form jail on bonds totaling $15,000.

Furthermore, following the incident, deputies say that the business took proper precautionary measures and cleaned and sanitized the affected areas.
