The five male inmates made their escape from the Pulaski County Law Enforcement Center early Sunday morning. A Blue Alert was issued in the county and their names are Tyree Williams, Tyree Mantan Jackson, Lewis Wendell Evans, Brandon Pooler, and Dennis Penix Jr. Officials also announced the group stole a white 2015 KIA Sedona Van with a Georgia tag CMP8628.

Additionally, the GBI said the two of the five men are murder suspects. Williams is charged with felony murder and home invasion in connection to a January 2020 incident in Pulaski County and Penix Jr. is charged with a double homicide due to an alleged “drug deal gone wrong” back in 2017.
