Owner and creative director Karo Maladzharyan of Fire and Lux is an online brand that focuses on spirituality, occultism, modern witchcraft and wellness. With over 75,000 followers on Instagram Fire and Lux offers a safe platform for anyone who is interested in discovering their spiritual path.
Maladzharyan was born and raised in LA and from a young age has been on a path of spirituality and mysticism. He was taught how to interpret and read coffee grinds (tasseography) which is a common form of divination in the Armenian culture which is where his ancestry is from. His grandmother taught him the art of divination at a very young age along with wisdom and knowledge on protecting himself from the “evil eye” and healing practices with the use of herbs and plants.
Maladzharyan spent years practicing his craft before embarking into the world of social media to gift the public with his knowledge and guidance in various spiritual practices such as meditation, working with crystals, candle Magick and cleansing tools. Maladzharyan is a seasoned mystic and a lover of everything related to hauntings, ghosts and occult.
Over a span of four years he has built his Instagram platform to help others on their journey of self-discovery, self-love and self-empowerment.
Maladzharyan says, “I never really put much thought as to where my social media platform would lead me. Initially when I began my Instagram page, I was simply trying to connect with like minded individuals to share and exchange knowledge on the subject of Magick and spirituality. However, it ultimately naturally grew to be a full blown business, brand and blog.”

Over the last decade or so Magick and mysticism has taken the lead in spirituality leaving religious beliefs and practices behind, giving people the freedom to express their individuality, regain their power and live in a way that feeds their souls.
Maladzharyan explains the importance of a more inclusive spiritual mindset, “With more people exploring their spirituality aside from the common religious upbringing that most of us were taught, I now see people learning to trust in themselves and being empowered by what, I like to call, daily Magick. Doing everything with an intention truly brings us all a sense of self-empowerment. For example, if I am attempting to manifest money, I may wear a tiger’s eye or malachite crystal bracelet. If I am drinking coffee or tea, I will add some cinnamon to it which promotes the energy of abundance and success. Intention plus real world work and effort is key to manifestation.”
