Fans Believe Tristan Thompson Subtly Shaded Khloe Kardashian With Cryptic Instagram Post Ahead Of Their Upcoming Baby Arrival

Fans seem to think Tristan Thompson may have thrown some subtle shade at Khloe Kardashian with one of his latest cryptic posts on Instagram. The NBA player, who is currently expecting his second child with the reality star (and fourth overall) via surrogate, took to his IG Story on Thursday to share a quote, which read, “You are the emperor of your mind, authoritarian of your body, conquerer of your fears, dictator of your beliefs. Man is a master of his own fate.”

Some fans considered this to be shade directed at Kardashian, given that she has willingly chosen to take her cheating on-again, off-gain beau on several occasions in the past. One person on Reddit perceived the message as a slight dig towards the TV personality, writing, “In other words – Khloe, leave me the f**k alone, already!!” while another added, “Lol watch out Khloe.”

As previously revealed, the couple will welcome their second child any day now, after a Kardashian rep confirmed that daughter True’s sibling was conceived through a surrogate back in November — just weeks before a woman named Maralee Nichols came forward to reveal she, too, was expecting a baby by the athlete.

Nichols welcomed their baby boy, Theo, in December, prompting an intense legal battle to ensue between the fitness trainer and Thompson, who initially denied her claims of being the child’s father. Though he admitted to having shared a fling with the brunette, he was vehemently against the belief of having fathered her baby, though a paternity test later determined that he was in fact the dad.

The shocking news left Kardashian in complete shock, as seen on the family’s Hulu reality show, “The Kardashians,” as she confided in her sisters about the scandal that had taken the press by storm. The Good American founder was inconsolable when Kim Kardashian broke it to her that Thompson appeared to be expecting another child outside of their relationship.

Nichols ended up suing Thompson for child support the same month Theo was born. Court documents obtained by The Sun revealed that the part-time model asked to be granted a whopping $47,424 in monthly payments on top of $1 million in legal fees. The sum was based on the basketball star’s income, which Nichols claimed was around $9.7 million just from his sports career.

Thompson also makes a significant amount of money from partnerships and endorsement deals, which is why Nichols believes she should be entitled to close to $50k in monthly child support.

A source had previously told Us Weekly that despite Theo already being eight months old, Thompson has allegedly made no efforts in seeing his son, even though he is also posted up posing with his other children, True and Prince Thompson.
