Hollywood Unlocked takes over EMPIRE as the independent record label and global music publisher celebrates 15 years in them music industry with a free museum in San Francisco, California, jam-packed with history, nostalgia, plus tons of celebrity sightings and performances.

As Super Bowl LX (60) took place on Sunday (February 8) at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, CA, EMPIRE hosted a free museum celebrating 15 years of the label’s music, culture, and innovation. The all ages event — in partnership with Levi’s and titled EMPIRE 15: FULL CIRCLE MUSEUM — took place from February 5 through February 7. While speaking on the exciting and creative event, EMPIRE states:

At the EMPIRE 15 museum, Hollywood Unlocked not only captured the nostalgic and creative displays set up, but also spoke with the fearless and trailblazing executives behind EMPIRE.

Ghazi Shami, the founder and CEO of EMPIRE Distribution Records and Publishing, spoke with us about how it feels to celebrate 15 years. He also spoke with us about EMPIRE’s artist Shaboozey beating the odds as a Nigerian-American in Country music and recently winning his first-ever Grammy Award.

Hollywood Unlocked also spoke with EMPIRE COO (VP of Operations) Nima Etminan about his feelings on celebrating 15 years with the label.

Additionally, EMPIRE President, Tina Davis, spoke with Hollywood Unlocked about her joining the label in 2018 after working in the music industry for over 30 years. She spoke on her breakthrough roles, her time at Def Jam Recordings, managing Chris Brown, and her quick rise to executive.
