Eminem Licenses “Lose Yourself” For First Time For Joe Biden Campaign Ad
In addition to Beyoncé, Eminem, real name Marshall Mathers, tells everyone they’ve got “only one opportunity” as he licenses his 2002-released song “Lose Yourself” for the first time, while endorsing Democratic presidential candidate Joe Biden in a new campaign ad.
On Monday (Nov. 2), the rapper tweeted out, “One opportunity… #Vote” while sharing a new “Joe Biden For President 2020” campaign ad. In the 45-second video, it features Em’s ‘8 Mile‘ soundtrack song with black-and-white footage of people voting, and Biden appearing at a rally in Michigan, Em’s homestate.

Previously, Eminem has been outspoken on his feelings about Biden’s opponent Donald Trump. So much so that he was paid a visit from the Secret Service. He confirmed the incident in a 2018 track “The Ringer,” Eminem rapped, “Cos Agent Orange just sent the Secret Service / To meet in person to see if I really think of hurting him.” #Socialites, thoughts?
