If Oscars night belongs to the Academy, the after-hours, at least in part,  belong to Elton John.

The Elton John AIDS Foundation Oscars Party remains one of the evening’s most enduring invitations, equal parts institution and spectacle, where philanthropy arrives dressed in full glamour. While the red carpet across town delivers its predictable procession, this is where the crowd loosens slightly, and the real mingling begins.

Year after year, the formula holds: a room filled with industry mainstays, cultural fixtures, and those who understand that proximity is its own currency. It is less about being seen arriving, more about being noted once inside.

Among the guests this season: Dua Lipa, Dylan Efron, Brooklyn and Nicola Peltz Beckham, Goar Avetisyan, Keke Palmer, Anna Pokrov, and Anna Nemchenko- attending with Vivienne Sabó, who readied the trio for the evening.

stepping into a setting that has long blurred the lines between celebrity, influence, and cultural relevance. Their presence marked a continuation of a broader shift,  where the guest list expands beyond traditional Hollywood to include a new, globally attuned set.

The evening itself carried its usual duality. On one hand, the polished surface,  flashes, fashion, familiar faces. On the other, the underlying purpose: raising funds and awareness for the Elton John AIDS Foundation, a mission that has anchored the event for decades and continues to give it weight beyond the social calendar.

There is, of course, a certain choreography to it all. Tables fill, conversations orbit, alliances (social and otherwise) quietly reaffirm themselves. And yet, for all its predictability, the party retains something rare: relevance.

In that room, as ever, it wasn’t just about who attended, but what their presence signaled. And this year, among that mix,  were very much part of the evolving picture where Hollywood’s old guard and its new voices meet, if only for a night.
