Ellen DeGeneres Tests Positive For Coronavirus
This Thursday, Ellen DeGeneres took to social media to announce that she has tested positive for the coronavirus.

The talk show host explained in an Instagram post that she feels “fine” but she will be following CDC guidelines to protect herself and others: “Hi Everyone, I want to let you know that I tested positive for Covid-19. Fortunately, I’m feeling fine right now,” the 62-year-old wrote. “Anyone who has been in close contact with me has been notified and I am following all proper CDC guidelines.”
She added, “I’ll see you again after the holidays. Please stay safe and healthy. DeGeneres has been hosting her daytime talk show, “The Ellen DeGeneres Show,” live from her studio, with guests appearing both in person and virtually.

DeGeneres is the latest celebrity to contract the virus. Her diagnosis comes as the United States faces soaring coronavirus cases and deaths. As of Thursday, the nation has seen more than 15.4 million cases and 289,970 deaths.
