Dr. Fauci Gets Moderna COVID-19 Vaccine On Camera

Earlier this Tuesday, Dr. Anthony Fauci and other top government health officials received their first dose of the Moderna Covid-19 vaccine.

Fauci, who is the director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, received the shot this morning at the National Institutes of Health Clinical Center in Bethesda, Maryland. Fauci said publicly getting the vaccine “is as a symbol to the rest of the country.”

He added, “I feel extreme confidence in the safety and the efficacy of this vaccine and I want to encourage everyone who has the opportunity to get vaccinated so that we could have a veil of protection over this country that would end this pandemic.” Fauci along with the other officials received the Moderna vaccine from the agency’s first shipment of 100 doses.

This comes a day after President-elect Joe Biden got vaccinated. Vice President Mike Pence was the first public figure to receive Pfizer’s vaccine and said he didn’t feel a thing” after receiving a shot. Prominent leaders have decided to take the vaccine publicly to assure its Safe to Americans.
