Dr. Dre Released From Hospital After Brain Aneurysm Diagnosis

Days after suffering from a brain aneurysm, Dr. Dre has been released from the hospital and will receive 24/7 care at home.

On Friday, the hip-hop mogul was discharged from Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles after spending several days in the ICU. Before his release, Dr. Dre was transferred to a private room on Wednesday at the hospital and he will continue to receive private treatment at home as medical professionals will try to indicate what caused his brain aneurysm.

A day after he was hospitalized, Dr. Dre thanked his fans and friends for their well wishes on Instagram.

“Thanks to my family, friends and fans for their interest and well wishes. I’m doing great and getting excellent care from my medical team. I will be out of the hospital and back home soon. Shout out to all the great medical professionals at Cedars. One Love!!”

Despite his medical issues, the producer is also dealing with a divorce from his estranged wife Nicole Young. Young is asking for spousal support and she says he held a gun to her head along with other acts of physical abuse throughout their marraige.

“Andre has verbally and emotionally decimated my personhood to the extent that I currently suffer from post-traumatic stress syndrome,”
