Donald Trump has expressed some worries that he may be too old to run for president again in 2024.

Trump reportedly told his close friend David McIntosh that he is fearful about his age after McIntosh asked if he plans to run for President in 2024. He says, ‘Yeah, I’m thinking about that. But you know, I’m going to be four years older.’ Despite Trump’s concerns, if he is convicted at his impeachment trial, he will be unable to run for president again. The discussion took place earlier this month while the pair was on board the Air Force One en route to Georgia.

Today is Trump’s last day in the White House and during his farewell speech, he thanked his supporters for their efforts throughout his term. He states, “As I conclude my term as the 45th president of the United States, I stand before you truly proud of what we have achieved together,”

He will not be in attendance at Biden’s inauguration and will leave the White House at 8 a.m. Wednesday. He plans to fly to his home in Palm Springs, Florida, and become the first president in over a century to not attend the next president’s inauguration.
