Fred C. Trump III, the nephew of Donald Trump, has publicly endorsed Kamala Harris for president shortly after making significant allegations against his uncle in a new book.

On Tuesday, July 30, Fred appeared on The View to discuss his memoir “All in the Family: The Trumps and How We Got This Way” and shared his perspective on the upcoming election with host Joy Behar. During the show, Behar mentioned to Fred that he and his sister, Mary Trump, did not vote for their uncle in the 2016 and 2020 elections. “[Mary] has said famously that there is not one redeeming quality for this man. And both the times, you voted for the Democrat,” Behar said, asking: “So is it too much of an imposition to ask you who you’re going to vote for in 2024?”

“I believe in policy over politics and without question, Kamala Harris’ policies are what I get behind, so I will be voting for Kamala Harris,” Fred responded. “And if I’m asked, I will campaign for her without hesitation,” he added.

As we previously reported, Donald Trump’s nephew reveals that Trump advised him to allow his disabled son to pass away and then relocate to Florida in which he described in his new book.

The book also contains a passage in which the former US president and current Republican nominee is reported to have used a racial slur multiple times. Trump III recounts reaching out to Donald Trump following an encounter at Briarcliff, a family golf club in Westchester County, New York. He explains that he shared details about his son’s requirements and the rising expenses associated with his care, and the disapproval he faced from Trump’s siblings. “Donald took a second as if he was thinking about the whole situation,” Trump III writes. “‘I don’t know,’” he finally said, letting out a sigh. ‘He doesn’t recognise you. Maybe you should just let him die and move down to Florida,” the former president reportedly said. Trump III then writes: “Wait! What did he just say? That my son doesn’t recognise me? That I should just let him die? Did he really just say that? That I should let my son die … so I could move down to Florida? Really?”

Trump III explained that he was not caught off guard by the statement, as he had just recently overheard his uncle express similar sentiments during a meeting in the Oval Office with healthcare professionals and advocates for individuals with disabilities.
