It was also reported that Trump,78, likes that Vance is a millionaire since the 39-year-old owns a venture capital firm and previously worked for tech tycoon Peter Theil. He also gained mainstream attention for his 2016 book, “Hillbilly Elegy: A Memoir of a Family and Culture in Crisis,” which discussed his experiences with poverty and drug use.

Trump also exclaimed that he liked the way Vance looked and said he reminded him of a “young Abraham Lincoln.”
