While speaking with Laura Ingraham, Trump claimed they were wrong for entering the Capitol but he added that they posed “zero threat” and called police officers guilty for taking action against his supporters. However, he claimed during the interview that nothing happens to “left-wing protestors” when they are protesting against major events.

‘It was zero threat, right from the start it was zero threat. Look, they went in, they shouldn’t have done it. Some of them went in, hugging and kissing the guards, they had great relationships. A lot of them walked in and walked out and they’re (law enforcement) persecuting a lot of those people.’

Five people, including a Capitol police officer, died during the riots after a rally hosted by Trump called for his supporters to march to the building. The rally was created due to Trump’sclaims of fraud during the 2020 Presidential Election and wanted to pause the electoral vote weeks before the inauguration.

Since then, Trump has been banned from all social media platforms and he releases statements from his office.
