Bindi Irwin has given birth to her first child and named her in tribute to her late father, Steve Irwin. The baby girl was also born on Irwin’s first wedding anniversary with her husband, Chandler Powell.

The announcement was made on Irwin’s official Instagram page where the 22-year-old explained the meaning of Grace’s full name with an accompanying photo of the joyful moment. Her caption reads, “Our graceful warrior is the most beautiful light … Her middle names, Warrior Irwin, are a tribute to my dad and his legacy as the most incredible Wildlife Warrior,”
Grace Warrior Irwin Powell was born on March 25 and Irwin added in the caption that her daughter “chose the perfect day to be born and we feel tremendously blessed.”
