Doctor Blasted For Lying About ‘Black Lives Matter Protesters Attacking Daughter
A Texas doctor is facing backlash after falsely claiming that his daughter and her boyfriend were attacked by Black Lives Matter protesters in Baltimore.
Dr. Andrea Natale, who is the executive director of the Texas Cardiac Arrhythmia Institute at St. David’s Medical Center in Austin went viral for his tweet that alleged BLM protesters ambused and attacked his daughter.
“My daughter called in tears. She was driving [with] her boyfriend in Baltimore & their car was attacked by a group of BLM. It was damaged & her BF was beaten,” Natale tweeted per BuzzFeed. “She filmed it & called the police but they cannot do anything [because] they are African American. Is this the America we want?”

“I got out of the car, three guys surrounded me,” the man said. “And I said, ‘Stop, I will defend myself. I do have a knife on me.’ And the other guy pulled out his knife and was like, ‘I got a f–king knife, too.’”
In a statement issued by his employer, Natale apologized for his tweet and misinformation,
“I was worried about my daughter, and I jumped to a conclusion based on the information I had at the time,” the statement read. “I’ve dedicated my entire professional career to healing people from all backgrounds, and I regret that my words created hurt and pain. It was not my intention.”
