Amid Kanye West’s recent controversies, more people are speaking out about the rapper’s Instagram post aimed at Roxie Washington, the mother of George Floyd’s daughter. D.L. Hughley has weighed in on his thoughts about Ye’s recent remarks, where he called out Washington and told the family to “come get Roxie before she mess up y’all money,” referring to the $2 million he claimed to have donated to them.
West has lost a number of lucrative business deals following yet another scandal — his anti-semitism comments, which he refused to apologize for until weeks later. With all that’s been going on in West’s life, Hughley, who caught up with TMZ at LAX Airport on Monday, said that if the Grammy winner was a woman, he would have already been placed under a conservatorship.

“If Kanye West was a female; if he had a vagina, he would already be in a conservatorship,” he told the cameraman. “Ask Wendy Williams or Britney Spears.” Hughley continued by mentioning that Williams and Spears, despite being placed in court-ordered arrangements, didn’t do half of the things West has done — yet he’s still a free man.
When asked whether he believed Ye belonged in a conservatorship following his recent scandals, which many fans say is down to his ongoing battle with mental health, Hughley concluded by saying he’s “not interested” on that matter as he brushed off the question.
Over the weekend, the “Stronger” hitmaker made headlines when he appeared to have compared himself to Emmett Till, as he shared a gruesome photo of his lynchings after being killed. In contrast to his own situation, following the termination of his deal with Adidas and friends cutting ties such as Anna Wintour, West believes the higher-up Jewish execs in Hollywood are trying to cancel him out for good.
Kanye West losing deals because ppl don’t want to work with a man spewing antisemitism and bigotry of all kinds, is not being cancelled—it’s business—and the consequences of his own actions. None of us are above losing opportunities because we’re acting a fool, remember that

“I got about 60 children that have no place to be as they look to transfer. They tried to dismantle our basketball team. Those boys are being penalized without reason. Even professional athletes were threatened by their owners to disassociate,” West penned in a lengthy Instagram post.
He also included pictures of Ari Emmanuel, the Jewish CEO who, according to Page Six, has been very detrimental in the domino effect of West’s cancelation. The father-of-four himself said on Instagram that Emmanuel allegedly tried to bankrupt him by shunning him from business partnerships, his growing efforts to continue building on Donda Academy, and trying to make him go “bankrupt.”
