#Socialites, check this out! During his recent episode of ‘Drink Champs,’ DJ Khaled recalled an “intense” story of the time he once stalked Bryson Tiller and hopped over the singer’s gate just so he can say, “The vocals are in!!,” for his song “Wild Thoughts.”

Khaled says in order for him to get Tiller’s completed verse for “Wild Thoughts” — via his 2017 album ‘Grateful’ — he had to nearly break into the singer’s home.
The hit song also featured Rihanna, who Khaled repeatedly admitted he is most thankful for. He tells hosts N.O.R.E. and DJ EFN, “RiRi jumped on it—thank god. Dream come true. And I put Bryson Tiller on. Riri loved the record. We got a hit.”
Khaled goes on to explain how Rihanna switched up some things on the record, leading him and Tiller to re-cut their verses.
“I’ll never forget. Riri changed the pitch of the record. She changed the pitch to make it her — you know when you’re a great artist you make records your own. And she’s an icon. She’s a great artist. So she put her passion to it and pitched the record up. Which was genius.”

Khaled goes on to reveal how he now had to try and get Tiller to re-cut his vocals, but he was taking his time with sending his verse back in to Khaled, despite an approaching release date.
“I already Bryson Tiller on it. So I hit him up like, ‘Good news! Riri vocals is in. Great News!’ So I’m in LA. I go to Bryson Tiller’s house in LA. I play the record. We’re all excited … He said, ‘No problem.’ So, I leave.”
Khaled continued:
“I’m calling Bryson, my album come out in like in two weeks. ‘Yo bro, I need you need to cut the vocals over. You know that Rihanna’s vocals is in, you hear that, right? Everybody’s excited.’
He’s not picking up his phone. … I need this done. I got f**kin’ Rihanna vocals. The biggest record of my—one of my biggest records in my career. He not picking up the phone.”
Khaled continues to recall him now traveling to Tiller’s house to see what’s up. He said, “He has a gate. I’m flashing my lights, honking my horns, sending texts. Nobody’s replying. Eventually, shout of Rich the Barber, he comes outside. Bryson comes out. They open the gate. I was already climbing the gate.”
Khaled said after being nearly stalked, Bryson ended up re-cutting his vocals, but he was just “confused” as to why no one picked up their phones. He adds, “They were dropping a surprise album.”
