Clara Chia Marti, the 23-year-old who is believed to be dating soccer player Gerard Pique, has left Shakira’s fans furious after reportedly posting a video of herself in her bikini while listening to Shakira’s music on Instagram. Many have since taken to social media, convinced that Marti, who is working in the Public Relations office at Pique’s company Kosmos, is trying to get under his ex-wife’s skin by “taunting” her, just two months after the pair had announced their split.
Per Daily Mail, in the since-deleted IG Story, Marti can be seen sporting a two-piece black bikini as she flaunts her curves and toned figure while overlaying one of Shakira’s songs in what fans are calling a clear dig at the mother of Pique’s two children. People were quick to react to the clip, with one person commenting, “How dare you be so bold as to put Shakira’s song on it.”

Another person wrote, “Awwww how cute someone is trying to get attention I get it.. Must be pretty tough living under Shakira’s shadow no?” As we previously reported, Shakira was said to have been livid after photos of Pique and Marti had surfaced online as they passionately kissed one another while attending the Summerfest Cerdanya festival in Catalonia last week.
The “Loca” singer and her now estranged hubby had been together for 11 years and share two children, Milan, seven, and Sasha, five. And while neither of the two ever spoke on why they chose to go their separate ways, multiple reports alleged that Pique may have cheated on the Colombian hitmaker, as it’s since been revealed he has been seeing Marti “for a couple of months.”
A source familiar with the situation had told The Sun, “Gerard and Clara have been seeing each other for months. She is a student who also works for him in his office, organizing events. They have been keeping quiet about their relationship but those around them all know what is happening.”
“People have been helping him keep the romance hush-hush and have wiped Clara’s social media accounts so people can’t find photos of her. That alone makes his mates think he is actually quite serious about being with her.”

Shakira was angered by the public display of affection from the pair since she had reportedly agreed with Pique not to shed light on a new relationship until a year after their split — but from the look of things, the athlete didn’t see any reason in keeping his romance with his new flame for much longer, especially since the relationship has already been going on for months.
It’s believed that Shakira and Pique are trying to remain cordial for the sake of their children, though it seems their breakup didn’t exactly happen on good terms. In a statement shared by the “Hips Don’t Lie” chart-topper earlier this year, she penned, “We regret to confirm that we are parting ways. For the well-being of our children, who are our highest priority, we ask that you respect their privacy. Thank you for your understanding.”
