Diamond of Pro Trump Commentary Duo ‘Diamond And Silk’ Passes Away

Ineitha “Diamond” Lynnette Hardaway, known as part of the pro-Trump commentary group ‘Diamond and Silk’ has passed away on Monday.

The news was confirmed by former President Donald Trump in a Truth Social post. “Really bad news for Republicans and frankly, ALL Americans. Our Diamond, of Diamond and Silk, has just passed away at her home in the State she loved so much, North Carolina. Silk was with her all the way, and at her passing. There was no better TEAM anywhere, or at any time!” he wrote.

Trump continued to write, “Diamond’s death was totally unexpected, probably her big and precious HEART just plain gave out. Rest In Peace our Magnificent Diamond, you will be greatly missed!” According to the Daily Beast, the official Diamond and Silk page in November asked fans to send prayers to Hardaway, who was sick.

She made an appearance in her final episode on December 15 where she debunked rumors that she was battling the coronavirus while hospitalized and called it “fake news.” The women became famous for being outspoken about their support for former President Trump and were fired from Fox News in 2020 for questioning COVID-19 data.

After learning about Hardaway’s death, her supporters and fans offered their condolences to her sister and their loved ones.
